Hi, I am Shanti, the founder of Nomad Movement. Let me share the journey that led me here and that drives our mission.
It all began from a place many find familiar – I grew up living a sedentary lifestyle, which left me feeling disconnected from my body and potential. At 18, I decided it was time for a change—not just in how I looked, but in how I felt and lived my life.
I started with YouTube home workouts, following along without much idea of what I was doing. But within weeks, I noticed not just physical changes but a growing sense of confidence and happiness that came from being active.
This personal transformation fueled my passion for fitness, and I dove deep into the science behind exercise and programming. Over time, I invested in certifications and experimented with everything from hypertrophy and powerlifting to calisthenics and hybrid approaches.
THE ORIGIN OF NOMAD MOVEMENT
Nomad Movement is the embodiment of these experiences, built to make fitness accessible, personal, and transformative. It’s about breaking free from a sedentary lifestyle and embracing movement as a fundamental pillar of daily life, not just another obligation.
The greatest lesson I’ve learned—both personally and through coaching—is the undeniable power of consistency. Our mission is to help you build lasting habits and find joy in movement.
